Have you been dreaming of an Island packet but don't want to spend $200,000. Well today is your lucky day.
“FIRST TRACKS” is a fiberglass constructed cutter rigged sailing vessel designed for blue water cruising. She has a full keel, raked bow with bow pulpit, and plump wine glass shaped transom. The aluminum spar is keel-stepped.
The Island packet 32 is a 35.0ft cutter designed by Robert Johnson and built in fiberglass by Island Packet Yachts between 1990 and 1996 with 120 units have been built. The 32 is specifically known for being well constructed, open and airy below, and above all, one of the largest 32' cruising sailboats on the market today. She has over 6ft 2 inch standing head room! She offers all the comforts you could desire in a cruising boat, packed into a solid, great sailing, shorthanded yacht, and has always maintained one of the best resale values on brokerage market. The 32' is the perfect family cruiser with room to sleep 7 people in accommodations with the forward cabin and main salon settees and the "crews" quarterberth.
The main salon has a single settee to starboard and an L-shaped settee that converts into a double berth port side. There is a bulkhead mounted table which folds out to seat 6. The galley is to starboard of the companionway entrance, with a 2-burner propane stove top, dish rack and top loading fridge/freezer allow for easy meal preparation.
The navigation station is to port with a huge double berth behind. Storage abounds below the berth, as well as in the navigation station.
"First Light" is a great opportunity to get one of these much sought after blue water pocket cruisers for a fraction of the cost of the larger models.
